Position Available – Accounts & Customer Service

 Exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate. National Transport Company located in Balwyn is looking for a representative who can liaise and communicate with our customers and suppliers. We are looking for someone that can also process invoices every Friday.

The accounts part of this role entails cross referencing supplier charges, using Excel sheets to reconcile the rates, entering data into Xero while ensuring the figures are correct.

The customer service part of this role involves processing customer bookings, keeping the bookings log up to date, general customer service duties such as following up on pickups and deliveries and some quoting.

The role can be fast paced at times and would require someone that can work with a sense of urgency. Candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, must be proficient in Excel and in Xero (or another type of accounting software) and must be very good with numbers.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential and transport industry experience is an advantage.

Great work conditions and good pay. Flexible, negotiable hours – At this stage approximately 2-3 days per week, 9am to 2-3pm each day.
